NC Yates Hang Fall 2021 November 4 5 6 7

I will not be able to make it after all. I was just hired for a new band and I have rehearsals starting this week.
I have to supplement retirement anyway I can.

I’m not going to make this one - my oldest daughter is flying in from the west coast and we’ll be spending time with her and Thumbs likely up in Boone.

Y’all have a good time. Lacey and will catch you at the next one.

We will have some other Legal campers at Yates
Please respect them and their campsites
Most of them are hunters, their base camp is at Yates and they go into the woods to hunt

The gate is open on small road at Yates and it will remain open until the end of February
As some hammock campers park on side of that small road (with the gate), keep in mind, a car can be ticketed and towed if that road is blocked or too narrow to get an ambulance and fire truck through.
With that in mind, it best for all cars to park on only one side—the same side everyone else is parking on. This makes it more likely that emergency vehicles can pass safely.

Bring 20$ to help pay for Saturday noon meal, prizes, and firewood

Be able to have food for all your other meals.
There might not be anyone cooking breakfast for you, but you might be able to borrow a burner and fry pan to cook food you brought

The vault toilet has been renovated
New toilet paper dispensers
All new toilet seat and lid

Bring Happy Face to share with others

I think I'm going to make this hang. Be there Thurs or Fri depending on rain. The last time I was at this hang was I think 2013. I cant wait to see some of the old guys from the past and meet some new friends. Anyone looking for some hammock gear look me up I will have a few things that I no longer use.
