Please read the first post to get details for our hang
There is a $20 fee for all adults to help cover our Saturday noon catered meal, firewood, and some prizes for contests
We don’t have a raffle, your help and support is appreciated

We are getting a load of good dry wood from Jeremy Shavers
Please do not make a bonfire, loading more wood than necessary on our fire, especially Thursday and Friday—so we don’t run out of firewood
There will be plenty of wood unless someone builds a bonfire Thursday or Friday

PappyAmos, we got to camp with Gorge Rats first night with TZBrown&Ann, MajorTom&WanderingBear&Sugar, HoldsClaw.

Then climbed Shortoff Mountain and camped a night. Got a visit from KennyRay…great fun! Then two days in Uwharries doing somewhat of Dutchman’s Creek Uwharrie Trail figure8 loop.
Cmoulder is an accomplished backpacker. And as you know, I have lots to learn. I got to see Lapp Hitch and Slipped Buntline suspension work flawlessly. Neither slipped, not even a bit. And both knots released easily when breaking camp in morning.
Future Phantom projects
Lighten total pack weight from 22 pounds
Down to less than 15 pounds

Being more organized, making better use of time, in mornings, breaking camp, boiling water for muh coffee, breakfast chow, and getting everything back in pack
As you can see, this is a major project, my lollygagging and constant conversation might be too ingrained in my psyche to stop all of the sudden like. Maybe I can ease into it over the next twenty years!
