I’m in, well I’ll come if. Seems like I’ve gotten bumped the last few hangs.

If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.
Old4hats, be good to see you again
PG - do they have bears in Uwharrie? Watch out for that food bag tied to your suspension…
I’m going to try to make it although my wife may have scheduled me to be out of town that weekend. I’ll see if I can move things around.
Twistytee, hunters have bagged the rare bear in general vicinity of Uwharries
To my knowledge, there is not a bear raiding campsite food bags at Yates!
There are campers at Yates now who have dogs.
Although bears can kill and eat a small dog, two or more medium sized dogs are usually good for keeping bears away.
Also hunters use the area (away from camp) to hunt deer and other animals
I could easily have missed a good bear story.
Our Old Pros might know one
Joyride and others saw the bear at John Rock in Pisgah Forest.
That's wedding anniversary weekend for me so I probably won't make this one.
A day camping in the rain is better than a good day at work,

We will be there. You betcha! Bring on the newest and baddest purdy boil stove. Home to inventions every time. (I need to get busy!)
Please read First Post, I made an edit
Thanks
I'll be there. Always look forward to a Phantom Yates Place hang!
