Just at one month away. Hope everyone is getting there gear and such ready for an awesome weekend.

If you haven't already registered on the website PLEASE do so. We really need an accurate count for food and meals. Register at hangcon.com

    Just a Reminder....REMEMBER TO BRING...
    1. Towel...we have showers, but its hard to dry off using a hand air dryer.
    2. At least 1 drink (2 liter) or drink mix to add to the drink table. We will have coffee and water but ask the community to bring other drinks to share.
    3. Mess Kit: We tried this last year and got positive response. you will need your own dishes for meals that you can wash afterwards. We want to limit trash.
    4. Chair: seating can be limited at times (especially the raffle and campfire) you will want something where you can rest your bum.

No deadline to register. We just ask to sign up as soon as you can so we can get the most accurate count for purchasing food for the event.

    Hope you can make it

Make sure you get those raffle tickets and take advantage of our Early Bird Special 6 tickets for $20. Not only are pre-purchased tickets more lucky, but they also help us offset the initial cost of the event.

Our raffle is gonna be massive this year with over $5000 worth of gear and prizes!

We were there this past weekend for some bonding and event planning.

Those of you that weren't there last year, we are now on the East side of the little creek. Bring some stands to get next to the creek because some of those trees are massive or far apart. Also we are using the big pavilion where the raffle has been instead of the little one.

The fire will be in front of the big pavilion, in view of the fenced playground. Makes it easier to keep an eye on the younger ones. And next to restrooms. I'm so extremely excited for this year.

    See y'all next month.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Also, we still have the entire primitive area as well. So there will be plenty of hanging options for everyone.

Another item we were talking about is desserts.

Anyone up for some Dutch Oven goodies? We have several cobblers on tap for each night.

Y'all are welcome to come on down and see how to cook in Dutch Ovens for breakfast and Supper and how to clean them. It's useful info if you just got some new iron gifts.

Also, if you want to contribute to the Cast Iron cooking, we do need a lot of bags of charcoal.

About how many bags do you think you will need?

usually go thru 1 bag per meal or 2 per day. In total about 8-10 or so of the large bags of Walmart or Kingsford.
