    1inch should be fine.

    Getting giddy….

For those interested in the Friday paddle-

I plan on leaving Hangcon after lunch and putting in the water around 2.

    We will be launching here:

    http://chassahowitzkaflorida.com/boat_rentals.htm

There are kayak and canoe rentals available if anyone wants to rent. We may have some extras available but won’t know until we get there.

The plan is to paddle out with the current, then leisurely come in exploring against the current. It’s not a fast current but it is there. For what it’s worth, this is the spot I taught all of my kids to paddle at 5 years old and they had no problems paddling back in.

There are a couple of neat spots we can land to stretch our legs and grab a snack or wade into the shallows.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

    Cool Bobby

If you have an extra yak(I may not be able to bring mine), may I borrow it to take this trip?

Also, any vendors still wanting to go on Thursdays Vendor Appreciation Day kayak trip, please PM me for details.
We are also leaving after lunch so y'all have time to get settled.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

If you're not apposed to SOTs I know my mom has several in addition to the one she'll be using.

I'll be flying in on Tues and plan to arrive on site Thurs. Let me know if that helps.

If anyone is interested in a group bike ride we will be offering a 1-2 hour ride on Saturday at 2:30pm on the Withlacoochee Trail which is about 10-15 min from Sertoma. It's a nice flat and paved trail.

    Vendors,
4 more days until Vendor Appreciation Day on Thursday. Relax at HangCon and sit back and watch the chaos that abounds. Enjoy yourselves as our family and camper before you jump in and Vendor your little hearts out. Also...

...come and kayak the Silver River at Silver Springs and take the 2 hour lazy river paddle and help us find the monkeys that make this their home for over 70 years. Our treat.
We leave after lunch. Let me know if you're planning on coming with us ahead of time or be at the large pavilion after lunch for the trip.

    See ya there.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

    HangCon 2022, here I come!

Hot diggity. I got my approval for time off. Soo worried due to family medical issues, but, now I'm "legal".
I missed last year for the first time since I missed the First Annual Florida Hang in 2011.
    So, so excited!
    See y'all there.

P.S. don't nobody better get me sick.... I'll cut, er, burn ya. Just kidding. Not really. Maybe...
