Strong Calendared (downproof) material for an integrated hammock

Asking for recommendations for a hammock material, needs to be downproof. Need something like Hexon 1.6 or HyperD 1.6, used those before with great success. Not so lucky with the same fabrics in 1.0 oz (both failed).
But, obviously, I need it to be downproof.

I don't need a discussion on relative merits, this ain't my first rodeo! LOL

GadgetUK437, good to hear from you again. You made some great videos, gear and trip reports.
You might contact both Dutch and Ripstopbytheroll, they can probably give you accurate information.

    Good luck

I made a hammock from fabric I got from Dutch called Dobby 1.9. I don’t see it in his regular down proof calendared fabric anymore but he has some in the close out / remnants section. I used it for integration hammock and I really liked the feel. 938A75B1-FBA7-4E28-895D-3B3E6F02599C.jpeg

I don't know any 40D calendared fabrics. But DIY Gear Supply sells 70D calendared fabric. I bought some, years ago, but never made anything with it, because I couldn't decide if the sh*tty looking side should face outside or inside. If you don't want to insulate the full hammock, it's either going to show, or you're lying on it. That's why I probably will go the double layer route when I'm finally making an insulated hammock: some lightweight hammock fabric will go on the inside, and the calendared lightweight fabric will go on the outside, with the shiny side facing inside. Depending on the fabrics you could probably get a stretch similar to a 40D fabric.

OK, I'm open to the idea of a double layer (never used or made one before)
My regular rides are 1.6oz (both hyper-D and Hexon), I've used 1oz hammocks in both materials, and they have both let me down eventually (in a rapid and unplanned manner).
Would a 1oz (uncalendared) inner (hyper-D or Hexon),
backed up with a lightweight (calendared) outer (0.66 oz MEMBRANE 10/Argon 67)
to which the bottom half of the quilt would be sewn, be strong enough for a 210lb hunk of love?

Or should I just suck up the extra weight and go for 2 layers of 1oz?

I think I was on a horse before I could walk.
And as I was the smallest (youngest), I was the one who got put up first when breaking colts
