Hey y'all, short time lurker, first time poster.


Been into hammocking for a good few years, but mostly just recreational, small duration day hangs until the last year or so when I decided to get more into overnights, trekking and all the gear associated with that. Started with a Hennessy Expedition XL as my first setup, which I still have and very much enjoy, but have since moved to the XLC just this summer and I'm looking forward to some more hangs in that.

Quite a few times I've ended up here looking for information on everything from hammocks, suspensions, tarp setup tips and stuff like that. There seems to be a good mix of knowledge and levity here, which is generally what I look for in an online community. Hope to be able to contribute in some small way in the future!
