Warbonnet Wooki XL on a Wide Chameleon

I have searched the forums and found that there seems to be a consensus that the Wooki XL will work fine on any similarly sized hammock to the Eldorado or Blackbird XLC, including a regular width Chameleon. Does anyone have experience using a Wooki XL on a wide hammock like a Wide Chameleon? I think it would work fine, but I want to see if anyone has tried this. Thanks!

I used my Wooki XL on my Half Zipped.

Works pretty well but takes some fiddling. The Wooki is made for the user to be sleeping more towards the head end of the hammock, like you do in a Blackbird XLC. At least for me, I sleep a little closer to the middle in the Dutchware hammock, I think most people do. I had to extend the head end by adding a bit or line and shrink the foot end by tying an overhead knot in the fabric and moving the rubber band back behind the knot.

I always felt like I was getting a little calf ridge from the Wooki itself. Probably could have played around with it a little more and dialed it in better.

This was a regular width Half Zipped, but these things are independent of width.

Yes, I have an XL on my Wide and it works well with some small adjusting. I assume the regular would works similarly with a regular hammock

Yep, I use my Wookie XL on my DIY hammock periodically. It needs a little adjustment on the foot end attachment point (extra carabineer), but snugs up nicely side-to-side.

Yes it can, the thing is that some modifications with the suspension for some people me included was undertaken to slightly reconfigure the Wooki positioning to compliment for the Chameleon hammock.... as mentioned the blackbird hammocks set up hang higher from the foot end and the Wooki's blueprint workings are designed with the blackbird hammocks.
You could check in with the trail lair, a synthetic UQ from simply light designs as another option, free from any suspension modifications, with a fit too hammock much like a Wooki.
