It wouldn't be a bad thing if some others brought one.

Some have asked about locating the group site at GHSP.
I drew up a simple map of the park and a close up of the campground area but HF says "invalid image"

I had this problem before but I manage to move I had put on my desk top rom past trips to use in the first post.
Don't remember what I did different.

If anyone can help up load them, that would be great.

When you enter the park the first thing you come to is the check in booth.
    Stop there.
If there is anyone in the booth, tell them you are with the hammock group
There is no entry charge for our group but they will give you a tag to hang on your rear view mirror showing that you have checked in.

Just past that you will see the Ranger Station on the left.
As you continue up the road the first road you see will be on the right and that is were the Fall Festival will take place on Saturday & Sunday.

As you keep going the next road will be on the right. That will take you past the Backpackers Over Night Parking and on to the campground.

When you get to the campground you will see the camp store on the right.
There is parking next to the road and behind the store as well as across the road from the store.
There is also some parking in front of the bathrooms but we don't want to use many of those spaces since others stop for the bathrooms.

As you look at the front of the store, the group area will be just a short ways in to the woods to the left. There are well used trails to it.

If you get there Thursday afternoon or later there will be a 20' x 30' blue tarp stretched high over camp central.
