    Swedish lurker

    Hi everyone,

I’ve been lurking around these forums for couple of years but finally decided to get social.

I love hammocking the Swedish forests, and try to get out as much as I can. I started hammocking when I got my first HH a few years back, and have since expanded my setup from stock HH to a fully modded continuous loop and whoopie slings suspension, various UQs and most recently, a second hammock to accommodate my kids when they come along.

I mostly get out on weekends, but try to achieve one or two longer adventures every year, putting all my hiking gear to the test!

Anyway, glad to be here and will try to participate more!

Be careful in life, the light at the end of the tunnel just might be a train.

Welcome! Our crowd just seems to be getting more and more international. I love it! Please share pictures of your trips. We'd love to see the Swedish Forests.

Dittos what Charlotte had to say. There is/was a Swede with the handle Redearmedia that use to post some very nice pictures of his camping adventures with his family in Sweden. Plus, another Swede who recently joined and has been sewing hammocks for himself and friends.

Welcome! There are alos those of us who are "Swedish adjacent" that would welcome pictures of your camping trips. Most of my family still lives in the Skåne region.

Welcome aboard! I’m with what Crazytown3 said. Looking forward to pictures from the beautiful Swedish forests. My grandfather left his family’s home near Kisa/Östergötland County to come to the states. Would love to make the return trip for a visit one day.
