I got into hammocks last summer - started with an old ENO doublenest. After a chilly night with a small hammock and no underquilt, I found hammockforums.net. I’ve been falling down the rabbit hole since, and I’ve loved it. I’ve made CDT under quilts and top quilts, some of spliced amsteel, and just made my first gathered end hammocks and bug nets. This post is a tribute to this forum and the folks who have contributed so much over the past 15+ years.

I used to hate camping.
Never slept well on the ground.
