Thumbs up Superior Gear Starlite Hammock Looky-See Video

Here is a peep at the new Superior Gear Starlite Hammock.
I'm showing the UL version which they call the Elite Upgrade. Cloud 71 fabric on inside and a .67 Argon on the outside.
Though you can get the Standard Version with 1.6 inside fabric and a .9 oz outside fabric.
About a 5 ounce difference between Elite and Standard.
    Hope you enjoy the looky-see.

It is a nice rig and been enjoying mine. Nice views from it as no big wall of fabric on one side.

How tall are you Shug ?
Reason i ask is because, being 58" wide, it is narrower than the XLC (62") and the Wide Chameleon (68"). I find with the XLC, even with the footbox my feet are kinda touching, and the chameleon they are spaced farther apart. Are you finding your feet 'squeezed' together at the end with the narrower width than the XLC or you Eldorado ?

I'm just a fraction under 6' tall. I love the view from this hammock. No big sidewall of fabric on non-head side. No calf ridge and my feet feel lie they do in all my gathered end hammocks.

That’s your second mention of how there is no big wall of fabric. I didn’t see it in the video (watched more than once). Is that a particular feature of the starlite in some way or is it just a different size and ridgeline length?

It is a 58" wide hammock. With hem it may just come out that way. Could be the double layers as well. Not sure but it has a great view.

Great video! How did you feel the comfort of the hammock was with a pad versus a RR with a pad? With my RR I found the pad really helps with a flatter more comfortable lay, was not sure if that translates to a double layered gathered end hammock.
