Female hanger here. Doing more gathering of gear lately than actual hanging. The machinist at work is making me a stand for car-camping that will hopefully have me hanging every nite at home, too. Unfortunately its in his 'spare' time in his workshop at home, so it's taking awhile.

Crawldaddy, did you have a specific question you wanted to ask on this topic?
female and hanger.... pretty new to this, but am loving the fact that i won't be sleeping on the ground in a rigged up tent with a poncho and bungy*(sp?) cords and an E-Tool, or a walmart tent and air mattress that doesn't hold air...lol
Will be enjoying my HH Scout this summer. Looking forward to the MHHA coming up. YAY
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once. Jennifer Unlimited

Another female. Have a few hammocks of various types, but recently got a Switchback. Most hanging is on the Vario stand on the back deck...really nice siestas.
I Love hanging. I am trying to get everyone I know to go hiking with me and become a hanger.
I NEVER want to go to ground ever. That is NUTS!
Hammocks were my idea first due to back issues, and Rook took the idea an ran with it. I love hanging ALL the time. Day trips, overnighters, many days. I love my BB. Heck, I LOVE my whole setup.
My step daughter is loving hammocks too. She took over my clark set up and is hooked.
Chick Hangers Rock!
It's not the pace....it's the experience.

Me too. I am working on converting my daughter this summer. She is my hiking buddy.
One here. Noob to hanging but long time camper.
My Honey ('Stitch') asked to sleep in a hammock last weekend, when we led a "beginners" hike at Land Between the Lakes. I had an REI gift card and 20% off coupon, so I got her an ENO Double. She liked it. See pic below of her nose sticking out last Sunday morning early.

Laying in my hammock in my living room to read HF and type, here's another one! I'm a full-time hanger. Any night in a bed throws my back out, so a great reason to to sleep comfy every night. Stormcrow and I bicker over who gets to sleep in the best rig (we have another one upstairs, not quite as nice). I always win.
