Thread: DCF Underquilt?

    Thanks for all of the replies! This is very helpful. If I am only going to have a 2 quilt quiver (for now) it sounds like I should get a 20* quilt in addition to add to my 50* to safely cover shoulder seasons and just mentally deal with the extra weight of that 20* quilt when camping in, say, 40* lows. I may test out pushing the 50* underquilt into the 40s with a UQP, but since UQPs weigh 5oz+ it is hard to justify carrying that over just bringing a 20* UQ which would be a 7oz penalty compared to my 50* UQ. Unless it is super windy!

    You can always stack/layer UQs to....just to give you more food for thought~~
