Help me decide on my new top quilt!

So I've narrowed my choices to three:

    EE Enigma 20 in long/wide

    Warbonnet Diamonback 20 in long/60

Jacks R Better Big Meadows 20 in long

The Jacks R Better is about $80 less expensive. It also uses horizontal baffles. They list a 25% overstuff.

The Warbonnet is the widest but also most expensive. It uses split vertical baffles.

The EE is the lightest (I think I am reading it all right). It uses U shaped baffles.

    Pros, cons, thoughts, suggestions?

    Thanks!

I have JRB TQs and they have served me well. Good basic design that works. Never been cold in ine.
Also have the WB Diamondback. I love the sewn footbox. Feet have room to stretch out down there.
Can't speak to the EE as I have never tried or seen there TQs.

Thanks Shug, that was really helpful!

Although the warbonnet is a bit more pricey I have a few of their quilts and they are very well made and very warm with their temperature ratings, depending on what ur looking for exactly sometimes they will post up some discounted sale quilts with small blemish or such. JRB I have their shenedoah it's older but warm and well made. Alot of people look at hammock gears econ line and I have a couple of them as well but have found personally I get a little chilled.

Warbonnet’s autumn orange and brown would have me sold! Doesn’t seem like you can make a bad choice.

Hammock Gear quilts are my favorite, but if limited to these choices, I vote for WB.

I have both a 50 degree and a 20 degree enlightened equipment revolution topquilt. Can’t speak to the enigma specifically because I hate a sewn foot box. The revolution has a zippered foot box which I like for full on quilt mode.

the EE is very well made. The 50 degree in boxers and a merino wool cap combined with an underquilt kept me warm down to 46 no problem. That’s as cold as it’s gotten for me to test so far. But stitching and material quality were top notch. It came with a nice cotton bag and then I paid extra for the additional stuff sack. I also liked that it came from Winona MN which is only an hour from where I live.

both quilts are quite light which I love

I have EE enigmas in 30* and 0* - I love the sewn footbox, if I get hot I pop one foot out. I like being able to find the bottom of the quilt easily in the dark, and being a tosser and turner I find the sewn box keeps me in the quilt better. I'm a very cold sleeper so probably not the best judge, but I tend to think that EEs temperature ratings are a little overstated (understated?). Not sure if I used the right word there, but I would go for a rating a little lower than what you expect to experience. Spectacular quality and service though, I also have an underquilt and another quilt of theirs and have not had any issues over 5+ years of ownership.
