Hello from Middle TN

I’ve been poking in and around here for a few days, figured I’d get on “board” sorry dad joke ....

I been using my few hammocks for about 6 years but never ventured outside of camping a few days. I realized I’ve been doing this pretty wrong and there is so much to learn. I have a few.....eno and grand trunk hammocks, I’ve given away alot as well . after sitting in one after the other a light bulb went off in my head and I figured I need a much larger hammock. I started to look around this site and read up. There’s so much information to absorb!
So to end discomfort sleeping in my hammock I decided I needed help and well here I am

Welcome. Heading for east Tennessee next week for a while. There is a hang in South Carolina next weekend. It's probably a long haul for you but watch for others closer to home.

What’s a “Hang”? A gathering with others? And Thanks Biker Bob yes I’ve been down SC way a few times this year, road my bike out to Maggie Valley for the Thunder in the Smokies Ralley n fly fished a few weeks later but I won’t be making a trip anytime soon.

Yes a group gathering to camp, eat and talk. Never done the "Thunder" but maybe someday. There may be a group gathering in September near Reliance, TN-watch for announcemnts.
