Boulder Mtn Utah (SLD Trail Lairs for Kids)

Took the kids up to Boulder Mtn a few weeks ago, helped them disconnect from screen time and get some exercise. The Mtn has over 200 lakes, only about 30 minutes from our house, runs between 9K and 11K feet in elevation. If you are willing to hike in to some of the more remote areas, the fishing is great and you can have several lakes all to yourself. Also, plenty of trees to hang hammocks on 😉

I got some micro lair hammocks from SLD for the kids, they worked well with the following underquilts: JRB greylocks, HG incubators (short length), and Jared also made a custom trail winder that fit great.

P.S. I can’t seem to figure out how to flip some of the photos using forum tools, sorry in advance.

That’s fantastic! Quite a group hang. Cool that Jared makes some right sized gear as well.

Awesome trip. Boulder Mountain is on my list. Seeing that giant brookie just bumped it up a few spots.
