Tom has lobster, chowder, clams, corn, potato, ice cream, beer right at camp. Linda Beans is across the street from LL Bean, and while your at it Ben and Jerry's, and the whoopie pie store are all right there! And of course a plethora of clam and lobster shacks up and down the coastline! As well as a supermarket and some fast food in town.

    update 8/10/2021

A quick update from Tom at Meadowbrook. Due to increased popularity in camping this year, Tom has asked that our group relocate from our usual spot to the sites closer to the pond (in blue on the map) our old spot has been renovated and is already reserved. No worries we still have plenty of trees and sites down by the pond!

Snack shack will be fully operational with an expanded menu! Due to high demand, lobster prices right now are at $10.99lb and clams are $7.50lb subject to change. Tom said it may go down a bit by the time we have our event. If possible he'd like to have an estimate for the lobster count, that way they do not run out, so I will add that to the sign up sheet as well (row j). Available every day from 4 to 8 pm! As well as grocery items, beer, Meadowbrook apparel, ice cream, and other goodies!

Open lighthouse day will be Sat Sept 11, 2021. For those interested we will be going to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse please indicate on the sign up sheet if you'd like to attend (row k). This is a free event and could be self guided as well, Or you may choose to visit any of the many lighthouses open to the public on this day.

We usually collect some donations for firewood for the group site (to be determined because of our relocation) we use this money to split between friday and saturday night. Wood is delivered directly to our group, if you can spare a few bucks, that's great, if not, that's ok too, this is 100% voluntary.

Thank you! We look forward to seeing everyone again, and can't wait to get there!!

Now that we have to relocate our (normal) annual camping area, what are you planning on doing for a central fire pit now.

Amanda and I will be there Thursday morning, I think some others may be there as well. We can scope out a good site with room for chairs and tables hammock hangers are very resourceful, we'll make something work for us!

Had to move my M/C rally to that weekend this year. Hope you all have a blast. Hope to see some of you soon....I am done with covid already.
If it moves, you can eat it. No promises you will think it tastes good.

This is probably a serious mistake saying this here on my part but the hang starts on my birthday, 9/10. Presents are optional. Hugs welcomed.

I know I can search for this online but it will be easier to ask here. What will the temps be like overnight for the hang? Being from VA, Im a bit unfamiliar with Maine weather at this time of year.

remember, the farther in the future the forecast, the less reliable. https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/ba...weather/333497
