Ground Grabba Anchors for our Tensa4 stands!

So we are planning a FL trip down to Key West, Dry Tortuga's, etc and my concern was that the Orange Screws would not work 100%. Could be most and ground from sand to hard pan so I found these GroundGrabba anchors and they are the bomb diggity I do believe! I will update as I use them local. Really could be a great option for the Tensa4 stands! They have a reinforced nylon version but I didn't get those as we have the Orange Screws and those work great where they work great.

These are the regular and the Pro. So basically 12" and 24" which range in use from Hard to normal soil and from soft to normal soil respectively.

Well these things fire into our yard in about two seconds! The 2' Pros will be awesome in the sand! The one footers will be great all around Tensa anchors. So much faster than the Orange Screw if you have a drill handy.

Sounds wonderful. Please send a trip report. From what I have seen, campgrounds through the keys can be 100% booked many months in advance.
I am curious to see what kinds of places you find for hammock camping, even with a Tensa4 brand tensahedron hammock stand.

By the way, those things look like they would be very heavy. Maybe even heavier than the whole Tensa4. If you are not camping on a beach, I wonder if an alternative would be to tie off to a nearby tree, car tire, rock, etc, depending on your campsite.

Dutch, are you listening? Titanium car wheel lug nuts with integrated eyebolt. :-)

Oh we have traveled all across the country with our Tensa stands. If there is a solid anchor point to attach to, I use it! These anchors are not that heavy actually. You only need one or maybe one of each size to be safe.

As to the FL trip, we ARE planning many months in advance! You won't be getting a trip report for quite a while! We will be hammock camping across PA again this fall though and I'll bring them to use for sure. They would have been handy last year we did that actually.
