Dang, I was eager to come out and join the fun again, but I have a fishing rod building class booked a long time ago on the 24th for myself and my wife, so it doesn't look likely.

We will be in Asheville in July and this is an easy hang to attend and one of my favorites. Should be there Thursday afternoon. One of my favorite hangs!
Just added to my calendar & I will be there! Coming in Thursday. Will be trying out my new Amok Draumr 5.0 XL that I haven't used yet.

Thanks Dennis (Tacoma) - I'm trying to get the AARP group together (Taz, PG, Chappy and GroundHog) and make a group effort up the hill as drafting helps when you get older and less horse power.
I posted event on FB in NC Hammock Hangers and Tarheel State hangers for ya.
Prayers for good weather and hope to see yall then.

If you want to watch this video, to refresh your memory, there is no phone service in parking lot at John Rock.
I believe there is good phone reception in town.
Thanks Loki, great video!
Exactly what PG said. Also, try downloading the video to your phone & watch it in real time while you follow the same path. Just remember, you'll have to run uphill to keep pace with the video when he runs parts of it in 2X speed!
