    Before the deluge? Now I'll have to add it to the list and check out the hike you mentioned.

    It'll be a couple of weeks before I can do anything... in the middle of remodeling hell now, complete with cost over-runs!

    Hey Bob.. after the deluge!! I seriously recommend doing the trek across to Sunfish Pond and then hike the AT back to starting point. About 11.50 miles total.. very easy going after the initial climb up Mt. Tammany. Unless of course, you are short on time or with someone who can not really do the extra miles! Either way, its a great hike with beautiful scenery.
