Hey ya'll from Alabama! I've been hammock camping for several years but have recently decided to dive into some better gear. I am 6'5" and just now recently realized that most of these store bought hammocks that i've been using are likely too small for me. I have 3 young sons who love to camp so I need to get a more comfortable setup for the future. I really appreciate all of the in-depth knowledge on this site and I look forward to learning more and more about hammocks!

An 11 foot hammock in a wide fabric can be better than those shorter hammocks.
Possibly, even better can be a 12 foot hammock in a wide fabric—maybe 66 68 inches wide or even up to 72 inches wide; will be your ticket to hammock nirvana.
