Fire ruined a Randy Special - Who has a big boy for sale

    Hiya Fam,
For the last few years I've been enjoying a 11.5' x 6' Dream Hammock made by Randy.
Well a fire ember decided to say hello and it wasn't more than a few weeks later that my baby met her demise.

While the girls were laughing their arses off falling through the cracks and onto the ground.. my eyes were filling with tears.

I am now on the hunt for a new family ride. I'm looking for something as big as possible.

I'd much rather chase my children out of your old one, while you lay in a new one.

Not interested in anything under 11'.

    Jon

Would you clarify what you are looking for? Are you seeking any type or brand of hammock that is 11' or longer or are you looking for something specific?

    jeff-oh,
If all else fails I will pull the trigger on a FreeBird, 12ft. double layer as wide as possible in a 2.2oz fabric.
The double layer doesn't seem necessary but I will get it regardless.

I may also reach out to Dutch and see what he is willing to do, that maybe my best best now that I think about it, Lancaster is with in hour of me.

TTTM Honeymoon looks pretty sweet at 16'4" x 9'8" but after reading the reviews I think I'll stick with Randy or Dutch.

    I've got a DIY 12' in 1.7 MTN that I'd part with.

Here's the thread where I bought it: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...-Robic-Hammock

I added a ridgeline. I don't remember if it's fixed or adjustable length. If you're interested I can open it up and snap some pics. It's been hung in a couple of times since I got it, but never camped in it. It's mostly just been sitting in my closet.

Jon, I have an 11' Dream Daren.
I bought it so long ago I don't remember much about the spec's. It is a single layer.
The material is very light and a bit stretchy for me I weigh 209#
It uses whoopies and I would include 1" tree straps and a stuff sack.
    Daren.jpg

I own so many hammocks over the last 10 years.
I believe I only slept in this one twice and it was on this deck.
The material was a little too soft for me.
I preferred the Warbonnet thicker material with less stretch.
The hammock is in perfect condition no holes, no tears, non smoker.
I would need 160 plus the cost of shipping.

    Outandback,
I appreciate the offer, thank you but I will have to pass. After reevaluating my needs, I'm trying to stay on the cheap. I may just grab a 12ft gathered end for $50ish from one of the vendors if nothing comes up.
    Thanks again !
    Jon

Still looking? If so you may want to bump it at least once every week. Items that are inactive are subject to being removed from the Market Place area, it allows members to know you are still interested and it will keep the moderators from "pinging" you! (Bumps mean to respond in the post)
