I like the approach of a cold-rated UQ, variable TQ, and go-to-ground option. Most of us sleep in a bed year-round, and that's got equate to a high r-value quilt or pad. I don't like the x-lite noise, so my go-to-ground option is either an 8-section z-rest (does multiple duty as leg insulation in hammock with 3/4 length UQ, sit/nap pad, and ground option) or a short Nemo tensor.

And I'm a card-carrying umbrella fan.
