Anybody have any insider knowledge or educated guesses about whether Warbonnet is going to have a memorial day sale this year?
Also, does anybody recall what previous years sales have looked like?

In addition to Warb I'm also interested in what's typical from any vendor too (HG, Dutch, Zpacks, SLD, everyone else)
Having bought a new replacement hammock from them this year I've noticed my underquilt is looking like it should be replaced as well.
But they will never see another Penny of my money if their Memorial Day sale doesn't give at least 40% off everything in the store.
With a special discount for a Wookie and Chinook that's 80% off and includes a free top cover.
Yep. I do not have a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff picked out and I'm just waiting for a slight excuse to justify spending the money to my wife.

Something like that that's going to be the only way to convince me to spend more money with him.
It's obvious I'm not a many times repeat customer that is going to buy from him no matter what.
No, their prices are too high, and I need some real motivation to shop.

His prices seem pretty fair from what I've seen. Not the cheapest but its all quality, made in the US, and there are pricier options out there.
Good down insulation is definitely pay to play no matter where you buy.
I'm sorry if I'm not being clear.
Sarcasm is my second language. Hillbilly was my first. English and such came later.
I quite love his gear. I've been a happy customer for years and I sleep in a warbonnet Eldorado in my house.
I have never caught one of his sales and have bought everything full price that I'm aware of minus the standard bundle discounts he does.
I have decided that for winter this year I'm going to go ahead and get a chinook and a brand new Wookie from him. I am going to buy it. I am currently trying to decide between a mini fly and a thunderfly tarp as well. Just because I like his and I want a new one.
Those posts were intended to be joking. Hence the reference to the fact that I have $689 (probably more in reality) in my cart right now that I'm waiting for an excuse to tell my wife I had to buy now, rather than pace them out over a couple months.
You hear by once cry once there's a reason to pay for a good hammock from the beginning.
There's no crying when you pay full price for a warbonnet hammock and kit. You buy once and then you buy again and you buy again.

I sure hope so! I've been waiting for Memorial Day to buy a top cover and underquilt protector.
