Looking to hang in late Oct

    Hi everyone,
Looking for a good 3 day loop in the ozarks. The more secluded the better. Thanks

You could do a section hike on the Ozark Highlands Trail... shuttle services are available. I've done a couple of out & backs there too. It'll be pretty that time of year.

Although it's not in the Ozarks, the Eagle Rock Loop a little further south, might be a consideration.

I’ll second this. The OHT would definitely fit your wants for seclusion. It’s beautiful, too! Eagle Rock Loop is also gorgeous - I just did that one several weeks ago. I went on a Monday-Wednesday, and didn’t see TOO many people. It might be more crowded on weekends.

The Buffalo River Trail might be worth checking out. Maybe not as secluded as the OHT, but it was fun. I went for a Slowest Known Time of 5-5 1/2 days, but many people complete it in 3. Neither the OHT or the BRT are loops, but as ObdewlaX pointed out, there are shuttle options. Or if you’re going with someone else, and you have two cars, you could drop one off at the other end. If you look into the BRT though, you might have to skip the last 2 1/2 miles. They’re doing construction on a bridge, and the Pruitt day use area is closed. Might be closed all year- I don’t really remember.
