    Trailheads poltergeist ul

Looking to go as light as possible on a hammock setup for my wife. I am interested in this hammock in cloud71 since it is crazy light at 7.5 ounces. I know the material has had some bad press with semi heavier guys. Anyone seen a failure with someone super light? My wife only weighs 100 lbs, so I thinking it would be fine. I did see Dutch lowered the weight limit to 200lbs now.

I'm 175, about 8 nights in it so far. No issues.
With something this delicate, I don't think it's the weight so much as punctures/small rips.
I'm very careful about debris, sharp objects or even zippers when using it. Even at 100 lbs, care is needed IMHO.
Not so much a knock of this particular fabric, but more of a statement of any super light fabric. Your already asking alot from a 0.71 fabric and what it can under normal use do is impressive.
A 1.2 fabric like mtn, or even hexon 1.0 would alleviate many of my fears while still being considered light weight by anyone's standards.
I spent a summer with hex 1.0, wasn't overly careful and retired it when a handful of pin holes started opening up. Now it's been handed down to the lightweight kids.

Summery: go for cloud, just be cautious till it proves itself a bit more.
