So I had an odd realization while failing to find the sweet spot in my 12’ Dutch netless, while using a SLD bottom-entry bug net. When the net is off, I find that the best angle for the hammock uses its relatively wide width quite a bit. But when I try to get to that angle with the net on, my head hits the net, and I can’t really get far enough out to the side. I don’t really want my face pushed up against the net, or to stretch/tear the net. The angle I can get with the net on is not uncomfortable, but it’s frustrating knowing that the hammock has a sweet spot I can’t quite reach with the net on (not using a net is not really an option in my part of NC). What solutions have people found for this problem?
