    Dyneema Tarp Colors

I'm going to get a Dyneema tarp, but can't decide on white, olive green, or camo. Any pictures or insight into why you prefer one over the others?

(I'm planning on a Dutch Asym so as to evaluate if I like Dyneema tarps before forking over the big bucks for one with more coverage. This one will be for shorter trips when I'm not expecting much rain.)

    Thanks!

You can see my Hammock Gear Dyneema Camo tarp right in the very beginning of this video.
Not as translucent as the gray dyneema tarps.

I like the camo, not for being stealthy, but I like that when I'm under it, it kind of feels like I'm still under the tree canopy, not a big gray piece of fabric.

I have both camo and olive green, but the olive green is a very weak shade and can also look like anything from grey to blue to almost white depending upon the color temp of ambient light.

Thanks, y'all! We have a winner: camo. (And I think I'm going with the HG hex... not that much more $ than the asym and a lot more useful.)
What a great and helpful community this forum is.

However, note that camo is slightly heavier (.67 vs .51 material) and a bit bulkier. It is also shiny, which some people complain about, but it also gets duller with use... takes some time, though.

The extra weight was the hardest part for me to commit too
But overall I just had to go camo
    And am glad I did
I wasn't aware of the shiny aspect, but it is very shiny which kind of out does the stealth factor

Last I saw on the HG site...your only choice is camo. Unless you ok to wait til Feb 2022. Dunno if Dutch or Zpacks has the white or green.
