Sometimes photos uploaded or attached to Hammockforums are not displayed in the correct orientation - for example, upside down or sideways.

The first tip "Manually rotate an image before upload" outlines the methods members have found successful to rotate an image. I have tested these and they all work.I find its pretty easy to upload or attach photos to a post, see which ones don't orient correctly, then fix those by the screenshot or crop method listed below and reupload them.

The second tip "View photo orientation data on Windows 10" gives you a way to determine the photo orientation on a Windows 10 device.

IMPORTANT: If you upload images to hosted site, such as Imgur, Flickr, TapaTalk, etc, you do NOT need to manually rotate photos. The 3rd party site will handle the photo orientation automatically.
