I now have a netless and a Chameleon in 1.2 and I adore them both. It’s an amazing fabric.

I have 11' netless ge hammocks in both Mtn and Hexon 1.2 fabrics. I prefer the mtn 1.2 over the hexon 1.2 but the mtn is also a wide vs standard for the hexon so much of the preference is just in the width (hint, hint). The hexon seems a little stretchier and more of a more silk or satin feel vs a slightly firmer and more cotton-like feel in the mtn. Not mentioning brands because both are A+ and the hammocks are both awesome.

My netless is 1.6 and my chameleon is double layer 1.0. At 200# I like both. The feel of the 1.0 is nicer that the 1.6. I'm going to try a single layer 1.2 just to see how it feels and stretches.

    enjoy the hang,
    Jay

edited to correct chameleon fabric weight.

Any chance you could throw that TL on a scale and let me know the weight? I'm waffling between a Half-Wit or Trail Lair in 1.2 as a less heavy alternative to my current TL in Wide 1.6 Hexon. I'm sure the HW will be lighter, but not sure how much lighter.

Can anyone comment on the Hexon 1.2 in the way of semi-translucency? The Mtn 1.2 is kind of semi-translucent as opposed to the Hexon 1.6 which is solid, non-translucent. Which is it more like, is it see through at all ?

newbie, but I love the feel of my 12’ netless over my chameleon with 1.6 Hex. this is what the web site says for the 12’er.. ”The 12 Footer is made from our Nylon D Wide 1.7 fabric.” Silky and soft plus the 12’ is nice for my 6’3” height..

I have Hexon 1.0 and Mtn 1.2 and they are very similar in this regard. Both are grey, but the Mtn is a somewhat darker shade.
