Noob from Slippery Rock, PA. Have to clear a few things, but hope to make it!
One week! Getting excited.

Looks like I’ll have two sons joining me. This should be a fun time.

How do ya'll handle dirty dishes at this place? Is there a facility at the nearby campground, or do you pack enough extra water to wash stuff in the woods?
Is there potable water nearby? Or is the creek clean enough to be reasonably filtered? How do y'all typically handle this stuff?
The campground across the road has vault toilets and a pump for water. I've filtered water from the creek before (and would do so again), but I usually just bring a few gallon jugs with me. For cleaning dishes I usually just try to wipe things down as best I can with a drop of soap and a splash of water and a paper towel or two I can toss in the fire when I'm done. That's what we call "camp clean."

Hope you all have a great time! Fellow Pittsburgh hanger here and big fan of ANF. Unfortunately not able to attend this year but it's on my bucket list for sometime in the near future! Enjoy!
Just wanted to update on weather, be prepared for rain and 75 degrees. Hang in there.

Yep forecast looks a bit damp through Friday, but pleasant temps. If anyone has any spare large tarps/cordage they can bring, we'll rig up a sizable dry area for cooking and socializing.
FYI, the walk from the parking lot back to the camping area is short and flat, but can be a bit muddy in spots. Appropriate footwear recommended!

We'll be heading up this afternoon after the wife gets off work. I should really stop putting off packing!
