Something came up.. sorry to have to miss this!
Hello,
I would like to try out this hang. This will be my first in a group. Regarding food, are meals bring your own food for the most part. Also, if bringing something to share, what goes? Any ideas?
I saw k5bpc offer on breakfast Thank you. TIA.

My wife and I will be coming down on Thursday. This is her 1st hang, so I will bring lots of hammocking kit for her to try. Do people bring dogs? I know-I know, but my dog is the best dog ever.
It's been my experience that dogs are welcome at hangs generally, but check the park's regulations to be sure.
I love dogs and think they definitely belong at a hang, but that's just my opinion, and we all know what those are worth ...
Only reason I don't bring mine is she's still super skittish and I haven't gotten her accustomed to camping yet, let alone camping in groups.

Dogs are certainly welcome. This is technically considered dispersed camping on national forest land, so there's no regulations to worry about.

Unpredictable, as with most things related to Pennsylvania weather. Based on how this summer has been going, I'm anticipating something in the 80-90 range, with the caveat that the temperature under the tree cover where we'll be camping is almost always 10-15 degrees cooler than in the parking lot.
