Cool Good Morning from West Virginia!

Hello all and thank you for letting me join here! If any of you all are also a member of Bushcraft USA you will recognize my screen name as I am the same name there. Anyhow little bit about me related to the forum. I have been a ground camper up until recently when I purchased a Amok Hammock and full kit. Hammocks have always appealed to me but I just never took the plunge until now. I’m itching to sleep in a hammock for the first time so the next trip can’t come soon enough.

    Good Morning from West Virginia!

Several hammock campers here are bushcrafters.
One of them is on a 40 mile through hike with either a bushcrafter or friends of trail type organization. I don’t remember the name of organization, I’ll ask when they return from Uwharries.

Do you ever watch Really Big Monkey, on YouTube? He does some bushcrafting type shelters and fires.

Might see you at group hangs, posted on Hammock Forums. Click Forums, click outings, click Southeast. Hope I got that right!

    Welcome wvtracker!

Nice looking setup. Hope the WV trees are where they need to be for a perfect hang.

Welcome! Hammock setup looks great (once I turned the picture over). Let us know how it handles wind. My bridge turns into a whirligig if I don't tie down one side or lie in it.
