That's the draumr already, no? it's more work to get in, but easiest, imo, to get out of

Did try the Draumr with this rig. Chair mode is great...laying back I end up hitting tire. Can't win them all!

So what you're saying is that your hitch is too short when fully extended. It takes a real man to admit that!

You probably know this, but there are products you can buy that will help you extend your hitch. How long do you want? I've seen ads that claim to make your hitch up to 4 feet longer. I'm sure you can find others that will boast of even greater lengths.
~ All I want is affordable, simple, ultralight luxury. That’s not asking too much is it?

Cool. I was curious about this. Do you think it would clear without the tire? I don’t have a rear mounted spare and was wondering if there would be enough clearance with the hitch extension. I didn’t think there would be but maybe so?

With just the tire off I fear not. Maybe if you set it up with the back gate open then it would. I'll try that sometime.

Thanks for the video Shug. You talked me into some car camping; heading up north with my dad next week for a short trip.

Suggestion: If you extend away from the Jeep would it be possible to insert some pole extensions and rig a tarp in a more conventional fashion?

Wow, Sector 7 is a wild wild place.
