My name is Ghosty! I'm about 30, I'm a guy, I live alone, and I have lifetime interest but modest experience with outdoors and DIY.

I've recently learned a lot about the health benefits of hammock sleeping, and after a lifetime of insomnia and other sleep problems I've decided to try swapping my bed for a hammock.

I live in an apartment currently with no outdoor space and limited indoor space, and have become fascinated with the turtlelady design and variations. I've learned a lot so far and hope to learn more.

We built some of the stands ourselves a while back when we were travelling to a state park which did not have any trees in for hammocks in the spot we were in.
