    Just remember
Glacier National Park is just over the next ridge or hill. Say hello to the (RCMP) Mounties for me when ya get to the other border. If they give you any trouble just tell them there must be some Moosetake. They like Moose jokes up'air

Take me a pic of a Moose if ya see one? (But not too close)

A desert joke for the trail - What do you get when you put a Cat in the desert ? . . . . . . . . . . Sandy Claws Ho ho ho Lol

Keep a step-in & stay on the so called trail. lol I've heard it's not truly marked as well as others in some areas but maybe because of the terrain etc. Be Good!
Thanks Moose, when they won't let me into Canada I'll tell them they Moose me kidding me

Made it to Davilla Ranch 14 miles south of Pie Town, NM. After 6.5 days of hiking close to 20 miles a day a 27 Mile road walk brought me here. Pie Tomorrow in 14 short miles of more road walk

Made it through Pie Town and after three days of road walks made it to Grants, NM. Close to half way through New Mexico and the next section finally sees a little elevation gain. Have had luck in hammock spots while some of them have been unconventional.

Lots of New Mexixo left to see!

    Are those peach fritters?

Great pictures. It is good to hear that you have been able to find places to hang.

Great pic of the hammock hung between the picnic pavilions, but I'd be too afraid it wouldn't hold up and they would collapse and kill me.
I'm enjoying the posts... thanks for sharing with us.

Oh, man! I can’t decide which looks better - the scenery or the pie!

Those posts were like 6x6 heavy wall iron square anchor bolted to a cement slab on both sides. I trusted that more than most of the trees I've hung from.

No that's a peach pie, they make them everyday except Tuesday, don't try to eat it all in one setting though
