Two Speed, may your batteries stay charged, water be full, and your trees be waiting for your hammock.
Be great to see your pix, and hear your stories when you return.
Came here to say God Speed Two Speed but it was taken.
I'll just say good luck instead!

Two Speed Hammocks, Hammocks and Accessories
Best of luck Two Speed, I look forward to your updates and progress. A bit trite but... enjoy the journey, mate. That’s why you are out there.
Big Threeish
Shelter: Hammock Gear Standard Tarp with doors
I have have went through two of these tarps. I have used them in extremely heavy rain and they have always worked great. The one I am carrying on the CDT has had some patching in the ridgeline attachment area due to some wear. I suspect it will make it another 3000 miles but if not I have had nothing but excellent customer service from Hammock Gear so if it grenades during the hike I will be looking at them first.
Ground Pad
Thermorest Neoair short women's version: Will use this pad for the first section and great basin section where I will have to sleep on the ground. The womens version has a higher R-value and the short version makes an attempt to keep the weight down even if only in my mind. I carry a piece of polycro to go under the pad. It is the cheapest most durable ground covering I have found for the weight
Insulation/Sleeping
I will be using a 3/4 20F under quilt from hammock gear which I used on the PCT and a new non smelly 20F top quilt also from hammock gear. They are both 950 fill. In addition to all this downy goodness I will have an inflatable pillow. It will make the ground semi bearable and I love having it under my neck in my hammock. If its chilly I also put my down jacket under my neck and it covers the area my underquilt doesn't. This system works well for me and I normally sleep in my hiking clothes unless I am going in an area where its going to be very cold/wet then I will take a base layer and sleeping socks.
Hammock
Dutchware Half-Zipped in 0.71 cloud fabric. After getting a few issues worked out I have enjoyed trying this hammock out so far. I carried a halfzipped in 1.0 hexon on the Pacific Crest Trail and it is still going strong to this day. I am looking forward to testing this hammock material out to see how it holds up to how dirty I get while hiking. Stay tuned. I will have the 1.0 hexon ready to go incase I have any accidents similar to the one I had on the AT with my chameleon.
Backpack
Gossamer Gear 40L 2017 Gorilla with modified rolltop. This pack is pretty big for 40L and I have had 7 days worth of food with a bear can and it fit it. I suspect this backpack may grenade similar to the other two or three I have went through. I find the pack comfortable but will likely go with a different pack when the time comes. I am going to wring every bit of my money I paid for out of this one on the CDT.
The lead times for high quality cottage vendor packs are pretty long currently which is awesome for those folks business. I like ULA packs and have been impressed with superior wilderness designs packs so that is my shortlist when the time comes. Packs are almost as highly debated as favorite footwear so if you have found one you like keep it.
I am set to get shuttled out 4/23 and look forward to sharing with you all.

I am still 18 but with 51 years of experience !
Good luck! I’m so jealous! Excited to see how the hammock holds up - I’ve got my DIY half-zipped cloud clone almost finished.
