Looking for Universal Full length Underquilt

I have the 2nd generation XLT and the Warbonnet bridge hammock. I have used my Yeti on both. It works, but I can't take advantage of the reversible lay on the XLT since it can only be used for one lay direction. I also want to go with a full length underquilt. The Wookie is nice, but, like the Yeti, it can't be used if I switch opening sides.

So a regular full length underquilt seems like it might give me a more universal solution IF it can accommodate the WBBBXLT foot box and diagonal lay. I am sure others might have worked this problem. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Almost any UQ will work for that. Other than the Wooki where you need to choose left or right lay.

The Wookie is so tempting. I see claims that it can be used on other hammocks with some fiddling. Could it be used on the Ridgerunner bridge hammock?

I think we are homing in on a universal solution. I am trying to figure out exactly where you sewed the grograine tabs and tied them off. Picture helpful. Logic tells me that it is on th 4 corners by the Wookie down edges and the two sides somewhere (?) in the middle of each side.

For opposite side lay access, the Wookie could be flipped over but the down baffles would be the wrong way and not get full loft or even smashed flat. That would be bad. Maybe things could be loosened enough for, say, a 0 degree Wookie to be effective to maybe 30 degrees? Shug the master experimenter and all around good guy could tell us!

Thanks everyone for the help and advice.

I stand corrected. This modification was how I made my standard lay Wookie, work with my RR. I had a seamstress sew the grograine loops on the 4 corners of the down quilt and one at the peak above the head area. Then I attached a bungee cord with a plastic hook to hook onto the dogbones.

if you like the set and forget about it of the wooki but want to be able to use it no matter which way you lay and don't mind synthetic look at the SLD trail winder. you can get it as a non asym, not sure if it would work with a bridge hammock though: https://www.simplylightdesigns.com/c...winder-asym-uq
