    Jeff Myers MyersTech fast shackle

Thanks for posting your video on how to make fast shackles! Made a few pairs this morning.
    Can’t wait to try these.

That's a pretty neat method - I'd made a few soft-shackles some time back and carry a half dozen in my pack for various things or if others forget a carabiner or something. This video is even easier!

I like these, and they're far easier to make and use than the 'classic' soft shackle, which can be a real bear to release when wet or frozen.

Nice to see Jeff demonstrate that knots other than diamond or button are totally fine for these 'loop capture' types of connection. Maybe not for tugboats or towing cars, but certainly for our modest application. However, the Evo loop remains my fave.

Jeff's videos and goods are very nice. Have bought a few items from his eBay store and they've worked out very well.

Now I just need to get to splicing myself...

Jeff Myers is a master of using existing items or concepts in new and innovative ways. I've purchased multiple items from him, and everything has been top-notch. His ideas have simplified my entire hammock setup; and I've yet to find another vendor who sells full suspension systems, ridgelines, and components at the price point he does. And I like how he uses his YouTube videos to show others how he makes these products- for those who are DIY inclined.

Totally agree. I think he fills a very nice niche in the hammocking community. Hardware is useful in a lot of scenarios, sometimes it's not so much. It's great that he's been able to be successful like he has so that we can benefit.

The videos are a really nice contribution to the community as well. I'm not a DIYer but I've been starting to dabble. I'll be going to his videos for quite a lot I bet.

I recently switched out my carabiners to evo loops that I learned to make from Jeff's videos...I like that he doesn't dance around the bush he just gets to the business showing how they work and how to make it.

Tested them in the back yard and they work like a charm.

Yeah, I use Jeff’s evoloops on my huggers for my UL suspension. Work perfectly although I’ve been thinking about switching them out for mini evoloops
