I've got my eye on the Economy Burrow and Incubator underquilt and topquilts either 20° or 30°. Have some Eno stuff now (Ember UQ and Vesta TQ) because they were in stock, available, I'm anxious to get out vs waiting 7 weeks. I'll be three season camping in various parts of New York where lows can be mid/high 20s at times spring and fall.
Question is on pack sizes listed on the HG site. Says 30° F = 5.5 Liters and 20° F = 8.5 Liters. I'm new to all this and that seems like a massive difference in size going into a backpack. Am I thinking about this wrong? Do people use diff stuff sacks to shrink them down more on the go?
