    Sleeping warm and toasty—no insulation

After thorough study, I’m tossing underquilts and topquilts out of my pack.
Science is on my side! I’ve calculated a way to combine Thermogenesis and Wim Hof breathing methodologies.

I will be warm in my hammock at temperatures below freezing—no quilts no pads—just t-shirt and shorts. The science is undeniable!

It’s esoteric, so I won’t go to trouble of explaining my processes, to you, as you will not be able to grasp long equations involving physics combined with controlling ones own thoughts in the mind body continuum.

    No need for hammock insulation!

I think all that coffee is just keeping you warm.
When I did some Wim Hoff breathing and actually levitated. Had to add straps to keep me in my hammock.

I'm going one step further. In addition to all the stuff you mentioned which I've been doing on my own for the last three years, I've recently been utilizing forcefield technology to eliminate the need for a tarp. The forcefield generator does weigh 18 grams so it's not the most ultralight solution out there but it's the best I can afford at the time.

With no quilts you can really get a low pack weight. To help you decrease it even more we just got dehydrated water back in stock. https://www.jacksrbetter.com/product/dehydrated-water/

Actually, I had a brief but refreshing moment….I have struggled for years trying to get it right with top quilts and under quilts. Finally, someone was admitting that also. But no, it was all a cruel joke. Guess I will just have to crawl back into my marmot hole and continue to deal with top and bottom insulation in my own way, and without the Madaglia D'Oro. It has too big a list of ingredients and Via is more convenient.

There was a thread a few years ago about using air as an insulator for a UQ, and it was a serious thread - no April Fools' Day joke.
