    Down booties?

I've seen a few YouTubers using down booties to combat cold feet while sleeping (in tents as well as hammocks). Anyone here use them?

I've gone through three pairs of Sierra Designs down booties. They are not particularly durable (especially if you wear them around the campfire). The prices seem to have gone up since I last bought a pair. I don't recall ever spending $80 for a pair of down booties!

Down booties are great because they fit loosely. Want a less expensive way to see if they might help you keep your feet warm? Try a pair of very large socks first.

Yup ... if you get cold feet... they pack down very small and can make a big difference on a cold night

I use Taiga Works down booties all winter at home, and out on the hammock adventures in the snow at night. 6 years. No sign of wear. Worth every penny.

Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.

Not down, but synthetic, yes. I made a DIY pair and they've been a game changer for me. When it's cold, I always bring them and never, ever get cold feet anymore. Mine are worn only in the hammock as they aren't soled with anything that allows walking around in them.

Used to get cold feet when sleeping in colder weather. Then I got Goose Feet down socks. 2 or 3 ounces for the pair IIRC-- no reason not to bring them. My feet now stay toasty in the hammock. I never walk around in them, though. No sole and don't want to risk damaging/ wetting/ dirtying them.

I’ve been using my down jacket as a footbox within the topquilt footbox...like another micro climate within the quilts, works very very well and you have a pre warmed jacket to put on in the morning ready for coffee from the hammock....also means 1 less extra item, as most carry a jacket.
