I also use some GooseFeetGear down "socks" is what he calls them. Very light weight and warm and perfect for the hammock. Eventually I purchased the shoes that go over them and have used them to mill around as camp shoes in winter.

I have cold feet issues too. Last trip, I used my seat pad from my pack under my feet in the hammock, thick wool socks, and a hand warmer. Was constantly having to re-shift things throughout the night. The warmer was too warm and made for hotspots which caused sweating (definitely counterproductive to keeping my feet warm). My quilt setup is 30 degree and it was in the 30's so thought I had layered up enough to deal with that. Body was fine; feet were not.

Next step is going to find a down jacket at a thrift shop and "repurpose" as booties. Kicking myself for passing one up a few months ago.

I just started using these dutchware booties and so far so good. They use synthetic insulation.

That looks good, but to large for motorcycle camping. Space is a premium.

I did my homework and saw where MONTANE had the best reviews. I ordered mine from Trekkinn - not too long of a wait but they are sturdy and VERY cozy. I keep them in my ridgeline stuff sac and get in and get'm on.....

I use Snugfeet by Snugpak, they are synthetic and tall enough to cover part of my calf too. They are super warm and pack pretty small for less than the cost of down.

Might be my ignorance….We’re your Wool socks tight? Fresh? Over sized? Try a pair of liners and over sized(fluffy) dry wool socks before bed. If it’s COLD I recommend Wiggys Booties. … I also get cold feet. My first time in a hammock…..I slept in USMC Happy Suit Booties(synthetic primaloft), as welll as the bottoms to the set and a wool shirt, micro down jacket and Outdoor Research ProGloves the two part one in 20° with powder snow and ice all around. Had a UQ and a Sleeping bag….. I felt like my feet were frozen solid. Realized they were above the UQ and in the top of my hammock. Soooo cold. I think I might have had to much insulation and was getting cooled from the sweat. It’s a learning curve for sure.

Funny you replied to this today. Last night I was wishing I'd made the investment. Did 5 miles, about 1/5 of which was just-above-freezing swamp and my boots and socks were soaked. It took me hours to regain feeling. I recently got a new puffy vest, so shoving that into the footbox helped. Funny thing is when I broke camp this morning, I realized I'd put my TW UQ on upside down in my urge to set up last night. So, not having anything but a thin layer of Argon underneath my feet didn't help.

my feet stay cold in general and I struggle to keep them warm in my hammock. A hot water bottle at the foot of my sleeping bag helps but it's a bit awkward at times to position. I need to check out some of these down booties or socks
