I'm on their mailing list and saw the same. A hammock, pad, and tarp coming in a little over 4 lbs isn't what I'd call UL, but it's a step forward and an indication they've taken customer feedback on board. You can't argue they aren't continuously reviewing and iterating their designs. Hopefully the results of that are a better experience for their customers and more profits for them! They're a nice group of folks with some unique products on offer.

Looking forward to watching some hands on reviews - I'm currently only seeing their infomercial that was uploaded this morning on youtube:

I’m really tempted by the 5.0. I have been looking at getting a more serious camping hammock and something about the quirkiness of the Amok attracts me. I may just bite the bullet here soon and if I do I’ll leave some thoughts on here.

Just pulled the trigger & ordered a Draumr 5.0 XL with the Winterlight XL pad. I used to own a Draumr 2.0 but didn't like the length for me - just a tad too short. I really liked that hammock but ended up selling it because of the length. We'll see how this one shapes up for me.

yeah, that was me too. I'm not gonna lie, I stumbled across shug lowering the space ship from that trapeze 1357019 years ago, and I knew I had to have one

I really enjoy mine, hopefully get to use it a LOT more this season

I’ve been convinced. I just placed my order for the blue Draumr 5.0 with the non-winter pad and the tarp. Now the wait begins.

I just purchased a new Draumr XL last month. I really like the new bugnet design of the 5.0. May need to purchase another one now. Guess I’m stopping to get flowers for the wife on my home today.

I like the idea of the bugnet on this one. My only concern is that it would be hard to replace if something were to happen to it. Obviously that didn’t bother me enough to dissuade me from buying it, but it is something to consider.

Anyone know how long it takes between placing an order and receiving the hammock?
