Whoa! I didn't realize that [COLOR] could cause problems!!

Thanks TallPaul for tracking down that anomaly. I take it you can fix it, correct? I like the color because it seems to differentiate the links a little better, and that's all I use it for. Well almost all.

Since it seems to be a problem with Tapatalk, and isolated to android (I'll confirm, like TallPaul, that on Tapatalk iOS I also am seeing no issues with posts cutting off), I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done on the HF side to fix the issue unfortunately - though I could be wrong.

Looks like the app is having issues parsing vbulletin code in general. On iOS it seems to result in displaying the code itself rather than the intended effect (i.e. showing the color tag, rather than showing the intended color change) but on android, or at least the current version of android, it's getting confused and truncating the post at that point. I'll admit that I don't use Tapatalk all that often these days, and I also tend to update my iPhone apps somewhat indiscriminately, so I'm not sure if this is a new problem or something that's been going on for a while.

Hmm... good point... maybe contact the app developer?

I'm a total moron on this topic (ya think?) so when stuff stops working correctly I have no idea why!

@Lowtech.. let me know if this one cuts off or not.

Test 4: Changing order of from URL, Italics, Underline, Color to Italics, Underline, Color, URL

If you use quilts made with high FP down and thin shell material, 3-season quilts can be stuffed into the bottom of the pack without a stuff sack and the items above will naturally compress them. Some people use a trash compactor bag to keep them dry and others use an even better option which is the Nylofume bag, and some crazy people like me use nothing... I just stuff them straight into the bottom of the pack. Been doing that for about 15 years now with no problem. If the rest of your UL kit is dialed in nicely, a typical UL pack in the 36L to 50L range will be plenty big enough. For winter, I use a Zpacks Arc Haul (62L) and can easily accommodate at 0deg Incubator and 20deg Enigma, also with no stuff sacks, and plenty of room for other gear/food/clothing.

Ok.. final test.. pretty much same as test 1 but removed the italics formatting

Test 5: Includes color formatting. Let’s see if this cuts off like a CMoulder post.

Did you ever think your post would be copied so much?

So far it seems like its not the color.
