Pine Grove Furnace Commemorative Pens
As all of you are aware, MAHHA will be in a new location this year due to the clear cutting of our beloved trees at the group hang site in Pine Grove Furnace State Park. As a special way to remember all of the good times had in our hammocks there, we have a special offer for everyone. I procured a small piece of one of the trees and our buddy Chris from Wild Cherry Woodworks was willing to do some handy wood working for us.
In very limited quantities we will have available pitch pine wooden pens and mechanical pencils made from that very wood! The pitch pine wood will be finished with a friction polish and wax. To keep costs down there will not be laser engraving and only 2 finishes available: gold (solid brass) and silver (aluminum). We will be offering these at cost so there is no profit made here - $30 each - which covers the cost of parts and Chris’s labor to make them.
I have included 2 pictures for reference: The first shows a general picture of what the pens will look like (please note there will NOT be a black aluminum finish or laser engraving on these pens as seen in the picture). The second shows the 2 finishes available.
We are taking pre-orders now!!!
Here is the link to the google doc to reserve yours now.

1. We will hold the item and deliver at MAHHA. You can paypal now or pay in cash upon delivery at the hang.

If you wish to pay ahead of time please contact me directly via email at [email protected] for specifics. Include something in the email title about pens or MAHHA so I don’t disregard it as spam….thanks!
