    Auburn River NP....Qld, Oz

Small, remote, dirt road drive, dry country National Park...daytime temps still hitting 37°c even though we're heading into Autumn. Rockhoppers delight.

Needed the adventure & the hang time.

    Auburn Gorge

    Granite Dragon eggs...tumbled smooth.

    Freshwater mussels

Something has been eating a fruity diet.

    Exploring

Open Ironwbark woodland, knee high dry grasses. Easy walking

Giant's eyeview looking upstream to Auburn Falls

Low hum of clumsy, flying beetles at dusk, wallabies appeared from nowhere hopping around the campsite, mozzies whined outside the bugnet...dingoes howled on & off throughout the night.

Overnight coconut yoghurt & hydrated dried fruit in the coolness of the morning.

Thanks alt.thomas & slugbait... exploring some new national parks this cool season, not so close to home. Change is good.

Yes, it's one hell of a cue ball !
Not sure who has the fruitarian diet...a mammal or bird, leaning towards a bird.

    Thanks for looking, OneClick.

    Cheers FLTurtle.
Lots of rock hopping & a couple of heart in mouth, adrenaline fueled one way jump downs...so my knees & hips were burning that night.

My mind says yes but my aging body says no !
