Here's the viewing link. It won't activate until 7 pm tonight EASTERN. The reason is that this will be a live show. So no double takes, no editing, and most importantly you'll get a chance to see the real people behind all of the quilt knowledge. And yes audience participation is encouraged.

    Yes, there will be shenanigans!

I wanted to thank everyone that showed up to make this podcast what it ended up being. The info from my guests were on point and we stayed on task for quite awhile. Alot of good honest information was shared.

    Same question for hoods.
This is my question also, as it feels like drafts are the major problem I'm having with a top quilt, whether in the hammock or on the ground. For that reason I am thinking about getting a VERY wide quilt (80 inches) that I can also close up to be a 40 inch wide bag. I feel confined even in a 30 inch wide sleeping bag.

SuperBonBon - HG has a Wide option for their top quilts. The main idea was for people who know they may have to go to ground and it gives more quilt to tuck into the sides. I have one and It absolutely works. Feels like I am swimming in down quilt. I’m not a tall guy but I have broad shoulders. A useful feature of a TQ is that chinch toggle at the head end. Once I close the snap, with the TQ over my shoulders, and chinch it down a bit, and pull the sides into my sides, I’m toasty warm. But I don’t move around much. That said, if I knew I was going to ground, I might opt to bring a sleeping bag and just use it as a TQ when in the hammock.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.

The best part of getting into hammocking is the gear it exposes one to. We don't own sleeping bags anymore as we use our top quilts for everything including in our slide-in pickup camper. Sold all our bags shortly thereafter.
