Actually... better not. In fact, forget I mentioned it.

I treated everything with permethrin recently. Looking at the forecast, I'm sure that was a waste. But not complaining...60/45° is perfect. Saturday looks moist.

Which historically means there will be a much smaller crowd around the fire Saturday night.

I'm not too upset about rain. I haven't been pegged under the tarp in ages. And I tore/sold my Thunderfly, so I'll bring the Superfly for more dry area and get some use out of that for once.

Fixed the corner tear on the Thunderfly. I had to use a silnylon patch for extra strength but it’s working out fine. Wish I could join you all as I’ll be in Bloomington mid-May.

3-4" coming here in Fort Wayne. I wanted snow all winter; it was weak even up north. Now April 20, too late!

The nice thing is I can stretch my netless hammock out thru this trip. But I may play it safe with the Blackbird. Not sure yet.

I think we're in real good shape. Asking for 3 or 4 days in a row w/o weather change this time of year won't get you great odds.

I was trying to decide between rain gear, but the rain looks light and short and most if not all should already be under tarps well before it gets started on Saturday. Should clear off enough by early morning to maybe get a shot at the Lyrids.

Don't forget your raffle items. I've got a doosy or at least some ZPacks

Spent day sorting thru the gear I will bring which is a challenge as most of my camping gear is still in boxes and totes waiting to be sorted from our move as I build some new storage shelves in work shop. Have to pick up a cheap head lamp as the one I found in a gear bucket had corroded batteries and the insides were trashed. A rain jacket is on my list of items to bring.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
